Course Materials:

Prior to a course production agreement I will supply a course description, course competency objectives, and a schedule of topics with enough details so that a curriculum review committee can compare this material to other courses in the curriculum.

Level of involvement in course design and production:

I will adjust my course materials as per the recommendations of a curriculum review committee so that my course fits well with other courses in the degree curriculum (e.g. avoids duplication of material, uses appropriate other courses as prerequisites or serves as an appropriate prerequisite for other courses).

I will work with the NTU Instructional Design team to create the components of the NTU Learning Model prior to arriving at Disney.

I will create all of the components of my NTU course while at Disney (only).

I expect to complete the course development while at Disney and in the weeks following will finish any outstanding deliverables.

I will give my materials to NTU and expect their Instructional Designers to create the required course components.

I use PowerPoint to present lectures.

Level of involvement with course when it is delivered to students:

I will write new exam questions and an accompanying grading key and rubric each term the course is offered.

I will supply several versions of my exams along with the grading key and rubric during course production. NTU may use these exams on a rotating schedule.

I will work with the Part-time Faculty to create exams and assignments and associated grading keys and rubrics.

I will have my local Teaching Assistant work with NTU to create exams and grading keys and rubrics.

I want to approve each exam prior to its scheduled delivery.

I do not want to be involved in creating exams and assignments and will leave that up to the Part-time Faculty.

I will grade all assignments and exams.

The Part-time Faculty will grade all assignments and exams and I will spot check them

I will be available to answer questions from the Part-time Faculty about grading but will leave grading up to the Part-time Faculty.

I will approve grades.

I will not be involved in any grading in any way.

I expect my level of involvement with the course to taper off in one or two terms.

I will supply a set of worked out example problems for the first time a course is offered.

I will supply some worked out example problems on an ongoing basis for the duration of my course agreement with NTU.


Level of interest in interacting with NTU students:

None – I will leave all interaction with students up to the NTU Part-time Faculty.

Level of Part-time Faculty interaction desired:

I will hold weekly one-hour meetings over the phone or Internet to discuss course issues.

Part-time Faculty may email me with questions or concerns, as needed.

Part-time Faculty may phone me with questions or concerns, as needed.

I will work with the Part-time Faculty during the first term the course is offered only.

I do not plan to be available to the Part-time Faculty at all.
